Americans for the Arts has supported the Arts ARE Education Statement and the National Arts Education Campaign sponsored by the National Coalition for Core Arts Standards.
Arts ARE Education recognizes that every student from elementary school through her 12th grade is entitled to quality school-based arts education in dance, media arts, music, drama, and visual arts.
An overarching theme of the Every Student Succeeds Act, music and the arts support the well-being of students every day, promote a comfortable and safe school environment, and promote inclusion through each child’s many means. To do. creative voice.
Supporters are invited to a virtual town hall titled “Arts Education for All Kids 2022-23” on Monday, September 12th at 5 pm.
MIDNIGHT EST. The event will bring global and state leaders together at roundtables to discuss cutting-edge arts education at the start of the new school year, and participate in breakout sessions to help shift funding from teacher shortages and learning losses to institutional funding.
You can have conversations on various topics until the opportunity. The federal government and its commitment to arts-rich education can support all learners and their well-being. The event is free, but registration is required to attend.
