At the Los Angeles G’Day, USA Arts Gala in 2023, Sam Worthington, Kid Laroi, and Miranda Kerr will be recognised for their achievements in their respective industries. The ceremony, which has honoured Australian trailblazers for the past 20 years, celebrates its 20th birthday this year.
The American Australian Association’s Arts Fund, which awards scholarships to young American and Australian creatives seeking to study artisan crafts in each other’s nations, is supported by the American Australian Association and is the focus of the program’s year-round fundraising activities.
With references to his recurring starring role as Jake Sully in “Avatar” and its planned sequel, “Avatar: The Way of Water,” Worthington will be honoured for excellence in film and television.
Australian singer-songwriter Charlton Howard is better known by his stage name Kid Laroy.
